KSeF FA(3) · XRechnung (UBL, CII) · ZUGFeRD / Factur-X · Peppol UBL

Your invoice stays private. The file is read directly in your browser. It is never uploaded to our server or stored anywhere.

How it works

  1. Choose your file. Drag the XML invoice – or a ZUGFeRD / Factur-X PDF – into the box.
  2. Read the invoice. The viewer detects the format and shows every important field.
  3. Print or save. Save a PDF copy, print it, or download the XML from a ZUGFeRD PDF.

What is an XML invoice?

An XML invoice (or e-invoice) contains the invoice data in a structured, machine-readable format instead of a printed layout. Accounting software can import it automatically, without typing anything in. In the EU, most e-invoices follow the European standard EN 16931, written in one of two syntaxes: UBL (used by Peppol and XRechnung) or CII (used by ZUGFeRD, Factur-X and XRechnung). Poland uses its own national format, KSeF FA(3).

Because there is no layout, opening an XML invoice in a browser or text editor only shows raw code. This viewer turns it back into a familiar invoice.

What the viewer shows

  • Invoice type, number, issue date, delivery date or billing period and due date
  • Seller and buyer with address, VAT ID, tax number and contact details
  • References such as the buyer reference (Leitweg-ID), order and contract number
  • All line items with quantity, unit, unit price, VAT rate and net amount
  • VAT breakdown by rate, allowances, charges, total and amount due
  • Payment method, IBAN, BIC, payment reference and payment terms

Peppol and UBL invoices

Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 is the e-invoice format used in Belgium, the Netherlands, the Nordic countries, Australia and many public procurement networks. Peppol invoices are UBL 2.1 files – the viewer reads them directly, including credit notes.

Frequently asked questions

Is the XML invoice viewer free?

Yes, completely free and without registration.

Is my file uploaded?

No. The invoice is processed only in your browser and never sent to our server.

Which formats are supported?

UBL 2.1 invoices and credit notes (Peppol BIS 3.0, XRechnung UBL, EN 16931), UN/CEFACT CII (ZUGFeRD 2.x, Factur-X, XRechnung CII) and Polish KSeF FA(3) and FA(2).

Does the viewer validate the invoice?

No. It shows what is in the file, but it does not check it against the official validation rules.

Can I get the XML out of a ZUGFeRD PDF?

Yes. Open the PDF and click “Download XML” to save the embedded invoice data.
