2. The invoice tools: your files stay on your device
When you open an invoice with our tools, the file is read and displayed only in your browser. It is not transmitted to our server or to anyone else, and we cannot see its content. This also applies to the “Download XML” and “Print / save as PDF” functions.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Serversea; the web server is located in the United States. Each time a page is requested, the server automatically records technical data in log files: IP address, date and time, requested page, referring page, browser and operating system. We use this data only to run the website securely and to detect misuse (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – legitimate interest in a secure, working website). Log files are kept only as long as needed for these purposes and then deleted.
4. Content delivery network (Cloudflare)
We use the content delivery network and security services of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA, to deliver the website quickly and protect it against attacks. Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical request data for this purpose. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in fast and secure delivery).
5. Contact form and email
If you contact us via the form or by email, we process your name, email address and message to answer your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries related to a contract, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Messages are delivered to our email inbox and a copy is stored in the website’s password-protected admin area, so that no request is lost. We delete messages once your request has been dealt with; copies on the website are deleted automatically after 12 months at the latest, unless legal retention periods apply.
6. Transfer to Pakistan
The operator of this website is based in Pakistan. If you contact us, your data is processed in Pakistan, a country for which the European Commission has not issued an adequacy decision. The transfer is necessary to answer your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR). Please do not send sensitive information or invoices with real data.
7. Cookies, analytics and advertising
This website does not set cookies for visitors and does not use advertising or cross-site tracking. To see how the website is used, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics from Cloudflare, Inc. (see section 4). It works without cookies and without fingerprinting: it only counts page views and measures loading times, without creating user profiles or following you across other websites. For this, a small script is loaded from Cloudflare (static.cloudflareinsights.com). Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in improving the website). Fonts are loaded only from our own server. If we add advertising, we will update this policy and ask for your consent where required.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 15–21 GDPR). To exercise your rights, email contact@einvoicetool.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the EU country where you live.

We update this policy when our website or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page.
